Mason Adams has worked as a journalist since 2001 — reporting, writing and producing audio for zines, alt-weeklies, community and metro newspapers, magazines and digital publications. He previously was a wildlife biologist in New England, Colorado, New Mexico and central California.

He covers the Roanoke Valley for Radio IQ/WVTF and hosts Inside Appalachia for West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
